Returning to Dwell in the Garden

歸園田居

The title is Tao Yuanming's, from the poems he wrote after resigning his post and going home to farm. Painted in 1997, the year of his own exhibition at the Cultural Centre. Every peak here is built from vertical strokes rather than dots — the line series does the same job by another means.
